We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays 11-6
except during October for Halloween.

Please contact us if you have any questions or visit our Halloween page for that information.

You may come anytime we are open to look for costumes for parties, school projects or other events. Below, please find information on our policies and tips to help you prepare for your visit.

To prepare for your visit:
  • Read over our rental policies (below) so that you are familiar with them.  Rental periods run by the week.
  • If you are coming for a school project, please do the research work before you come--usually what you're being graded on is the research of the era, style, culture and society related to your project.

What to bring with you:

  • Print out our measurements page to take measurements for everyone coming to get a costume (especially for anyone who can not come with you).  If you can't measure yourself before you come, be prepared to have one of our costumers measure you when you arrive.
  • Know the era and character if you need the costume for a Mystery Party.
  • If you are coming for a graded school project, we suggest you bring a photo (or several) of the person, place, or time period that you are to dress as.  We carry very few small children's costumes, so contact us if you are concerned about availability.  Usually 5th grade and up we can accommodate without any problem.

While you're here:

  • Our trained staff will show you around our shop.  Our costume shop is set up to function well for pulling costumes for theatrical productions--we generally do over 300 shows every year.  Costumes are not pre-bagged, or pre-assembled.  We design each full outfit using items from our stock for fit and style for each specific order or customer that we get.  For this reason, you should plan for time for fitting and trying on several options.
Rental Policies:
  • The initial rental is for one week, each additional week is 75% off the rental charge.
  • We offer a 25% discount for graded school projects (Madrigals and Pops Concerts are not included).
  • Everything is priced by the piece, so if you only want accessories, your rental will be less.  However, most full costumes rent for around $25-35.  There is a cleaning fee of 15% added to your rental.
  • We accept credit cards, debit cards and cash as forms of payment.  In some cases, we may require a credit card number to use as a deposit.
  • There is a $25 limit to any rentals to people under 18, unless you have an adult to sign for you.
