Graded School Discount: We offer a 25% discount for graded school projects.  Madrigals and Pops Concerts are not included.  Please ask for the discount at the register.  Please note, even with the discount, a full costume will still usually rent for at least $15-25 for one week.  We can help you pick out accessories to add to items you may already own if you want to spend less.  

Rentals to Minors: Please note there is a rental limit of $20 for anyone under 18 to rent without an adult to sign.  Any renters under 18 will need an adult to either come with them or meet them here to sign the rental contract.  Absolutely no rentals go out in the month of October to anyone under 18.  

How to Prepare for your Visit: We strongly encourage you to have your child do the research work on their project before you come.  We don't mind assisting you and your child with finding a costume, but in the spirit of education we do not do the research work for the student when they come in.  A photograph or two or three is very helpful, and the grade is usually based on what you know about the dress of the day and not on the actual costume that you pick out and rent. 

Important Information to Know: Have your child look up the era, style, culture and society related to their project.  Many times we are told the birth date of their subject person, while the era they may be representing is 20, 30, or even 50 years later, depending on the age of their subject at the time they made their important contribution.
